What you type into the calculator
The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The figures you enter, such as weights and prices, are not sent to this site or saved anywhere. They disappear when you refresh or close the page.
The live price button
When you press “Get live price”, your browser contacts a third-party price service (gold-api.com) to fetch the current price. That service can see your IP address and which metal and currency you asked for, as any website would for a request. This site does not receive or keep that information. Please see that service’s own privacy information for how it handles it.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver the pages and keep the service secure. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.
Cookies and storage
This site does not set cookies and does not store information on your device.
If this changes
If analytics, advertising or affiliate links are added later, this page will be updated first, and your consent will be asked for where the law requires it.
Questions and complaints
If you have a question about privacy, email our contact address. If you are in the UK and are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
