Things worth checking on any bar
- Purity and weight are stamped on the bar and match the invoice.
- It comes from a recognised refiner, which helps when you sell later.
- Whether the price includes VAT, and the delivery cost.
- Whether the dealer will buy it back, and at what price against spot.
These limits are rules of thumb, not published standards. Platinum and palladium use rougher limits. Not financial advice.
